Where in the world have I been?

Have you ever heard of someone going all the way to Asia just for the weekend? When I was much younger I used to do it very frequently with my mom. We would go shopping for some clothes and then I would return monday for school. I could only do that because mom works as a flight attendant. Well this weekend past we renewed our ritual. I came to Korea for the opening of the new MCM building, which by the way is looking fabulous. I decided to come a day early and go shopping, so the mother came along. Lets just say if you ever want a guide to show you around all the good shopping markets in Asia I'm sure I can rent you my mom for a very good price!!! On a serious note she seems to know every market and boutique store in Asia.

Your mom should start a business around taking middle aged people or people who can afford it and don't want to mess around looking on shopping tours, a week or weekend, somewhere in Asia.

The hairless cat is quite cute.

I liked the 1930s Depression party and the photoshoot.

If your mom flies for United, her and my mom probably know each other.

make believe said...

Cute! You make me want to relive my shopping tradition with my mom. But that means I would have to fly all the way to Edmonton from Sydney, and I am not sure if the flights alone could fit into one weeked! and p.s. the shopping wouldnt be that great either! oh well!

I'm a flight attendant too! And its so true we do know all the god places to shop & eat:) I've only been doing this for 2 years so not as knowledgeable as your mom, who reminds me of the more mature F.A's:) I'm in Canada too so nice to see a fellow Canadian doing what she loves. Cheers!
